Biography

Amirreza Talaiekhozani was born in Tehran, Iran, on May 07, 1980. After several months the family moved to Shiraz, another city of Iran, where he began his schooling. In 1998 Amirreza continued his education at Islamic Azad University Branch of Firozabad, Iran in the field of Environmental Health to achieve associate degree. After obtaining associate degree in 2000, he was accepted as bachelor student in the field of environmental health at Jondishapour University of Medical Sciences in Ahvāz one of the cities of Iran and graduated in 2002. Two years later he continued his education as student in Master of Science at Islamic Azad University Branch of Sciences and research located in Ahvāz in field of environmental engineering. In 2008, he got his master degree. Due to his deep interest in teaching and research, he got position as academic staff in the department of civil and environmental engineering at Jami Institute of Technology located in Isfahan another city of Iran. After 3 years of working in this institute Amirreza finally moved to Malaysia to obtain his PhD degree at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in the field of civil engineering in September 2011. Now, he is working and doing research in the field of environmental engineering at Jami Institute of Technology, Isfahan, Iran. His favorite areas of research are treatment of wastewater and polluted air and self-healing concrete.
